Richmond Economic Development Corporation (REDC) and its board of directors announced the appointment of Harpal S. Malik as Assistant Vice President of its 504 Development Loan Program. Mr. Malik is a graduate of the University of Delhi, India where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also has a Master of Arts in Economics from Panjab University in India. Prior to joining REDC, he worked for several years with the Crater Planning District Commission located in Petersburg, VA with responsibilities in the areas of administration and service delivery that was designed to start or strengthen small women-owned and minority owned businesses.
